Snow Day in April?!?!?!

So yesterday I posted about how I love the sunny weather and everything...and then today...I was in class all morning. Then I came up to the library (where there's a huuuuuuge wall of windows) and it's snowing. Like, what the heck? The weather is so weird. Its like it's going through puberty or something o.O Hmm. Oh well, at least I can wear my boots :)

Only 1 + 1/2 weeks of school left! Yay!!!!! I got an A (98/100) on that Twilight speech :D :D :D *is happy*, and one of my feedback sheets from the audience said "Best speech ever! You should put it on Youtube - it was that good!"! *Happiness for speeches* Maybe I should post it...
I wish there was a public speaking 2 class to take next semester but there isn't. But I'm taking dance and all that so I will be busy along with my other, more "academic" classes.

Once school is out all of the summer movies will be released. I want to see Letters to Juliet and I saw the trailer for Just Wright last night. Paula Patton is soooooo pretty! And so is Amanda Seyfried!

Trying to figure out exactly what to do all summer because I don't have a job :'( despite the fact that I've been applying for ages and gotten an interview. I did have one offer to work as a nanny but I'm not sure if I can because I have class during the day twice a week. I should call about it though. I'm really bad - I haven't called the people about the job (I was waiting to hear about another) and it's been almost 2+1/2 weeks. So I'll pray about it and then call like Friday evening or Saturday it seems like the right thing. But I need a car!!!!! So a job would be great.

Bit random, but when I have my own family I want to drive a Toyota Rav4. For some reason those cars look ideal for families. Not too big, not like a little car, and they look pretty nice. I'm not a fan or suburbans or minivans either. I mean, I don't mind them and minivans are fine for people with little kids but I don't like them once your kids are like 5 years old. Not for me :)

More random! Tomorrow is Friday - T.G.I.B. Day on TLC! that means lots of bride shows like Four Weddings and Say Yes to the Dress. Fun. And this week's ANTM episode is usually run again on Friday night so in case you missed it or wanted to watch it again it's there.

Meh...well I'm sleepy so I'm going to sleep. Night! Random pic: a cute bird!

Sunny Days & Smoothies!

I love, love, LOVE sunny weather! It's not all the time we get sunny and warm though, so it's especially nice on days like today when it's in the 70's! As soon as I got home from school I changed into a tank top and shorts, grabbed my sunglasses and iPod and then sat out in the sun for an hour. (I'm trying to get a tan - lol). I LOVE this kind of weather! It reminds me of my best friends :) And Disney.

^^^^^ It's my castle! (^_^) ^^^^^
I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts :) What are some of your favorite things?

My favorite drink to date is (well, a shirley temple) and Jamba Juice's Strawberry Surfrider. Those are insanely amazing. I'm looking for a good knockoff recipe and I want to make them for my fam.

Only two and a half weeks left of school this semester - so excited! I'm taking like one summer class but just because I want to get it over with :) Other than that, I'm FREE!!!!! I'll be working on my Twilight analysis and hopefully seeing my best friend, who lives in another state.

Not much to report today, but I just wanted to say how much I love the sunny, warm weather we have today! <3

Random picture, can't forget it...today its not really random at all :P It's Jessica Biel and Justin T I believe...but I love the weather in the pic! And JT looks like a Jason Mraz wannabe! lol

Twilight PANDEMONIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So as you may already know...I'm not exactly what you would call a fan of Twilight. Hate the stuff, actually. And I'm in a public speaking class this semester, and I had to do a persuasive speech. I chose Twilight (anti, that is). I had to give the speech today (its my final for the class) and I was super nervous about it. I had a feeling that no one would really like it....boy was I wrong.

I made up a custom design PowerPoint (in the colors red, black, and white), dressed in red and black (I'm already white enough) and I brought the books in for visuals. Well...not to toot my own horn or anything...but I think it was the best speech of the day. (today is our first day of final speeches so there were only 5 so far, inc me). I started off by making it sound like I was a Twihard fan just giving a pro-Twilight speech, and then I flipped it around really quick and surprised a lot of the audience members.

Lol ^^^ Edward's a pimp. It had to be said.

The funny thing was that I intended for it to be a serious speech, as I was addressing the abusive elements of Edward's behavior. However, the way that I said something in the intro made the audience laugh a lot, so I ran with it and ended up giving it in a more humorous way. I think I had the audience laughing practically through the whole thing, and hopefully convinced several of them. I got some really good feedback too - one girl said that she had to try really hard to find something wrong, and everyone said that I was really credible and obviously knew my stuff. My teacher said that it was great, and that she was surprised because she didn't expect it to be humorous. Neither did I! :P It was amazing - it went better than I had even hoped!

I've decided that I'm going to write up a full essay/analysis of my issues with Twilight. A book the size of a Twilight book on the problems with Twilight, basically. I'll start on it, section by section after school is out for the summer. It's gonna be looooooooonnnngggg. But fun :P That's one of the things I loved so much about today - getting a whole audience's attention and getting to pretty much rag on Twilight for 10 minutes. Too, too much fun :D
My favorite anti-twilight picture:

So now onto different topics............here are some weird and/or funny commercials. As you know I have a habit of reading into commercials a little too much...so there's also some commentary on a few.
Swiffer
- I just like Swiffer.
Swiffer 2!
- This one makes me laugh. The mop has an awesome stage presence and personality.
STUUUUPID Crest commercial
- Really? She's auditioning in 2 weeks and her agent is concerned with her smile? What is she auditioning for? Wow... She must not really care much about getting the part either then, if whitening your smile is so important. If she did, she wouldn't be drinking the wine and eating the pie and all that. It just gets on my nerves. I think it's the same girl who's on the wedding Crest 3D White toothpaste commercial. That one doesn't get on my nerves.

Random picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! National Treasure has been on TV aaallllllll weekend......and National Treasure 2. They're good movies though, not complaining. It's just on nonstop. Riley's my favorite. He reminds me of the younger OceanSpray cranberry guy.

He's watching over....everything we see....

I love all things Disney (obviously) and The Lion King is one of my favorite Disney movies. But I found this video from The Lion King's broadway production and I am in awe of it. I llllooooooooovvvveeeeeee this video. Jason Raize is positively amazing.

So now I'm in love with this song and I CAN'T stop listening to it. Also, listen to Shadowland from TLK on Broadway. The below photo is from the theater in NYC where TLK plays. I believe it's Scar's mask.

Now it's time for the usual random picture that may or may not really be random.
One of those myspace or somethin ads that pops up on the side of the screen. I thought this one was actually cute.
