NEW Alice in Wonderland trailer!

Maybe you've seen this already, but I saw it for the first time today in the cinema previews (I was there to see When in Rome). Made me more excited for this movie. Anyhoo, here is the link to the new - long - Alice trailer.

Random picture....hmmm....what to post....Ah. Mini-Agrabah from "Aladdin" at Disneyland, CA, on the fairytale storybook ride.

Prince Caspian - Will Turner wannabe?

I saw this photo of Prince Caspian and Edmund from The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and I noticed the really close costume resemblance between King Caspian and Will Turner in At World's End. Maroon pirate-style shirt, scruffy, and hair style. I couldn't find a super great photo with which to compare, but if you've seen the movies, I think you'll definitely make the connection.

Random Salad! First Week of School, Wonderland, Batmobiles, and Robin Hood

Ummgghhrrrrkkklllleeee....... Yeah the first week of school is over. I felt a little sigh on the inside when I started writing this and the "umghrkle" thing is how I felt like spelling it. Psych, Math, Public Speaking, and Logic - my classes. 13 college credits. The only thing that's making me sigh is that this semester I only went to school two days a week and this semester I'm going four days a week. That means getting up before dawn four days in a row and my whole sleep schedule has been off because of it. I'm going to try and get to bed earlier next week so I don't feel like such a drag. I feel like Sleepy from Snow White :P

Oh. Newsflash - this is going to be a very random blog.

Disney/Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is going to be out in around a month. Can't wait for that. More trailers are coming out so I'm getting more excited. Costumes (yay!) look really good, and they're designed by Colleen Atwood (the best!) so another plus. Notice the little bunnies on the bottom of her dress.

So today in my speech class the teacher's question of the day was "What kind of a car fits your personality best?". Okayyyyy........ So I couldn't really come up with something. I'm not that specific when it comes to car manufacturers and models. So my teacher got to me and asked me the question, and I told her I didn't really know. I don't really know what would suit my personality. So she asked me the alternative question - "If you could have any kind of a car, what would you pick?".
First thing that comes to my mind...is the Batmobile from Batman Begins.

So I blurt that out and some of the guys in the back of the room are like "Yeah!". But then my teacher tries to play into that choice and piece it together with my personality to see how it describes me. She asks me why I would pick that - I tell her because no one else has that car. (And it's awesome.) She assumes that my personality is that I like to have things no one else has. Not true, but she took it that way. Anyway, she moves onto the next person before I can defend myself so I probably seem like a jerk. I can't seem to articulate myself well sometimes!
I like the batmobile because it's AWESOME! All-terrain, all-weather, you can lay down and drive....the list goes on. Who doesn't want a batmobile?!?!?! So I think a lot of the people in class think I'm a selfish showoff now, but I think it's kinda funny... What do you think? o.O

Robin Hood! Next item in my random salad!

Just felt like mentioning it. The BBC series (Season 2, especially) is pretty entertaining. Truth be told, I like most British shows just because the people have cool accents, but I love the little love triangle thing in the series between Robin, Marian, and Guy. So if you watch BBC, watch Robin Hood next time instead of Dr Who :) And if you have watched Robin Hood, who are you shipping for? Robin/Marian? or Marian/Guy?

Random picture....found this again on Party Perfect. It's cute. And today, you lucky ducks get a random fact from the mind of the Littlest Mermaid. Here it is: Elvis is cool. :D

Penelope

Have you seen Penelope? It's kind of a diamond in the rough. Came out in 2007, but it didn't get very much publicity. I rented it from Blockbuster after it was recommended by the girl working there. It's so good! It's a real acceptance story - almost like a reverse Beauty and the Beast. Penelope is born with a pig's snout instead of a nose. The story is about her search to find someone who can accept her and break the spell. James McAvoy is pretty cute, and Penelope's clothing is awesome. Oh and she has a cool house and Simon Woods was hilarious. I loooooove it. So go make your day better and watch Penelope.

A Disney "diamond in the rough" (NOT aladdin :P) is Treasure Planet. It did terribly in theaters but it's one of my favorite movies. The "I'm Still Here" scene is the best.
Random picture! A very clever person made this Snow White sticker for their apple computer. :)
